Globally Recognized Avatar

Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?

Why do I need a Gravatar?

If you enjoy reading and commenting on blogs you have noticed many blogs require you to register before leaving a comment.  Many blogs and websites have implemented the globally recognized Gravatar which will allow your avatar to follow you around the Internet.  By using Gravatar, you will eliminate the need to post your picture on every site you visit. Just sign in, leave a comment, and your avatar is magically placed beside your comment.

What Services or CMS use Gravatar?
