Hostgator – Green Hosting

HostGator.com, one of the largest Web site hosting companies in the United States, just made more than 1.3 million Web sites of businesses and individual consumers across the country green via Texas wind power.

HostGator.com purchased Green-e certified Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) from a Texas wind farm representing 130 percent of the electricity used to both power and cool all of its shared and reseller servers. RECs offset energy production through a renewable energy resource. The green energy is then fed into the electrical grid.

Hootsuite has just updated their twitter web client.  Some of the changes are a result of user suggestions and some were planned improvements.  Users will be presented with a splash screen when signing into Hootsuite introducing the new features.

The new Motorola Droid has everything you need to get the job done including high speed mobile browsing, location awareness, ability to run multiple apps at once and a whopping 385 minutes usage time. This new smartphone also has the ability to take 5 mega-pixel still images and near DVD quality video using the onboard camera.  If that is not enough, you can also crop, rotate, and geo tag images using the built-in functionality.  Take a look at the demo video from Verizon after the jump:
